A composting system where red wriggler earthworms organic matter into excellent soil amendments. Earth worm castings are the best fertilizer you can buy.
Personal Notes:
1. One big challenge I've noticed in dealing with vermicomposting is the transport/ harvesting stage.
I watched an older man shovel a ton of castings into a front end loader and I got tire just watching the guy.
Need to have automatic loader/harvester/transport system for castings. Otherwise it will be too much work for one guy. Too much labor and too much time. [insert design here]
2. Need to find a place where you can get free kitchen scraps from a restaurant/s.
